SOCIAL UNREST IN CHILE
October 18 is and will be a date that creates a before and after in Chile. Writing about what's going on is complicated by all the things that come with it. Personally, everything that is happening is new for me, I never thought that something like that might happen and less that it was in Chile. The first few weeks were intense, curfew, "chaos in the city", panic was introduced to people by the media. Going out on the street was like getting hit, because what they showed on TV wasn't what I saw when I went out on the street or demonstrations. Know that gave me a lot of anger and grief because again the government and those in power in Chile were fooling people. In everything, I am pleased with the revolution that is being lived in the country, "Chile awoke" is the new motto.
